Philosophy has always attracted me since early years. I'm currently practicing mindfulness, with a lot of progress to be made before I am closer to what/where/who I want to be. I am trying to become "complete" or "whole" in some way. To reconnect my body and mind.Lately, what occupies my mind has shifted from code and architecture to other thinking on my spare time. In my 20's and 30's I worked almost all my time awake on obtaining new knowledge and perfecting my craft. I'm now refining the much neglected part that is "myself". I am certain this offers an advantage in my work life as well. My people skills have definitely improved. My overall understanding of how businesses operate has also increased. It's fair to say I was a late bloomer.A strong sense of ethics and "a good heart" signifies me, paired with intelligence and a solid knowledge of IT in general.I'm smart according to IQ tests - with the limited usefulness there is in that. It helps me to solve some logical problems. My language skills are a fair bit above average, with some known problems (and undoubtedly some unknown). Show less

Linux and Windows server maintenance in a broad sense: Software development, mainly using Python, Perl and PowerShell. Server/service setup, configuration and troubleshooting. Windows OS deployment using Microsoft Deployment Tools. Scripting tasks, configuring Active Directory, creating Group Policies, etc.

I own and operate a one-man company called Svendsen Tech. It is mostly a hobby/pass-time. Last time I checked, my articles had been read by about 6 million people, so the audience span has been quite large over the accumulated years.Financially, the success of the company is limited and it consists only of some small ad revenues.
