As a dedicated wildlife biologist with a solid foundation in both terrestrial and marine conservation, I bring hands-on experience and a passion for preserving biodiversity. My journey began with studies in Wildlife Management at the Wildlife Research and Training Institute, where I developed practical skills in wildlife management, birdwatching, and animal identification. This foundation gave me a deep appreciation for the complexities of natural ecosystems and the importance of data-driven conservation.Early in 2024, I expanded my scope to marine conservation by joining REEFolution, where I initially served as an intern and am now a Reef Ranger. Here, I work closely with a dedicated team to advance coral restoration, fisheries management, and other marine conservation initiatives along the Kenyan coast. This role has allowed me to engage deeply in hands-on conservation, contributing to sustainable marine ecosystems while enhancing my skills and knowledge in marine resource management.I’m passionate about integrating my diverse experience to make a positive impact on both terrestrial and marine environments, and I’m always looking to connect with fellow conservationists and professionals in the field.
