Growing up I was always challenged with solving unique problems. Whether it was solving cheese storage issues in a cost effective way, or being lowered down a hole to retrieve a piece of equipment that had fallen (because I was the youngest and smallest person around), I was always privy to rising to the challenge. I grew up farming with my dad, which taught me how to thing outside of the box to get things done. I've come along way since then, but those core principles have never left. Work to learn, rather than earn, and soon you'll have the latter. The past three years of sales have taught me so much about people, how to communicate, and win others over to the best ideas. At my core I am a people person, while a generic tech job may not quite make sense; the combination of numbers and people skills has drawn me to this new line of work. Outside of the data sphere I love to visit new countries and areas, sing and play guitar at local venues, and make craft beer. With a creative approach to problem-solving and a strong foundation in both technical and customer-oriented roles, I’m eager to leverage my skills in data visualization and strategic planning to contribute to innovative organizations.
