During the Jovem Tech program, I received intensive training in hard skills such as web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on backend development using Java and Spring Boot. In the afternoons, I also participated in soft skills training sessions, including time management, communication, teamwork, feedback, among others. It was an incredible program full of valuable learning experiences.

I developed and maintained responsive, high-quality websites, applying best practices in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. While my primary focus was on front-end development, I also had the opportunity to collaborate with my team on back-end tasks. My flexibility and eagerness to learn allowed me to contribute to various tasks, including database integration with MySQL using PHP.

As a teaching assistant for the Programming Language I course, focused on the C language, I supported first-year students by helping them understand syntax and solve problems using C. My role involved clarifying complex concepts, providing guidance on best coding practices, and assisting students in overcoming programming challenges.

During my time as a volunteer at VIPLab, a computer vision laboratory at UFMA, I participated in a scientific research project aimed at identifying Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) signals. I used Python, along with libraries such as TensorFlow and OpenCV, to develop a machine learning model. The journey began with extensive research of academic papers to understand the latest techniques, including image segmentation concepts, convolutional neural networks, and data preprocessing techniques. I searched for and selected appropriate datasets, which were crucial for training and testing my model.
