ARTIST'S STATEMENT- Subjects & Objects: Judaica, Hebrew Bible themes, still lifes of common and less common objects, African and Asian artifacts, landscapes, abstracts, sci fi & fantasy...and I do think that I am not alone in thinking that commercial art and illustration may also be fine art. Media & Materials: Actual, real, pencils (I've got graphite, charcoal, color, sanguine, jet-black, mechanical from 0.3 to 5.6 mm....), paint brushes that get wet, water-color paint that is married to the brushes, pastels that impart texture and color. "Computerized graphic design", when used, will be limited to the manipulation of photographs, and maybe, text. Frankly, this is what my computer skills allow, and what my personal artist's aesthetic judgement will allow. Did you know that in 1979, it was proven that all humans know how, or can learn, to draw?
