Technical Support Engineer
Current• Manage IT team daily activities. • Manage Windows Servers running Business Critical Applications.• Implements backup policy in system and prepares backup schedule.• Monitors status of scheduled backups and completes backup checklist.• Performing routine audits of systems and software.• To evaluate, test, advice, train and support IT. Related projects.• Procurement of IT hardware, software and maintenance products & services. • Maintaining documentation of changes regarding users, functions & systems.• Standardizing the server environment by modifying Group Policies.• Support Domain Controllers, DHCP and Terminal Servers. • Microsoft outlook client configuration and Troubleshooting issues resolve the problems.• Troubleshooting of the Think pads and Think Centers required parts required parts call logging with Lenovo, HP, Acer and Dell Assets.• Installing of operating systems (OS). • Managing and maintaining strong customer relationships• Manages Windows network (users, computers, printers, etc.) with Active Directory• Provide a day-to-day Assistance to systems' users• Providing hardware and software support• Assembling and Repairing of desktops and servers • Maintaining all the prescribed reports like Downtime, Inventory, Printers Usage Reports, Call Reports, Warranty and AMC Reports, etc. • Ordering of the parts from Lenovo, Hp, Acer, Dell and updating the calls.• Mails configured in Office 365.• Experience in OS Installations,(Windows7,Win8,Win10,Server 2008,Server 2012, Server2019).• Providing telephonic support to customer in case of technical related Problems.• Providing support for data recovery, taking and restoring backups.• Provide System Admin Support as required to maintain user accounts, DNS, DHCP, and maintaining connectivity to the internet and VPN to Area office.• Responsible for managing and maintenance of networks in all branches.• Sophos, FortiGate Firewall management.
