Elizabeth Reed describes her passion for filmmaking as "involuntary." Ever since she first watched Joe Wright's 2005 adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice" at the age of seven, she knew directing was her only choice of career. Now, a junior at Ball State University majoring in Video Production, her work includes a year and a half as show runner of "BSU Tonight," the university's first and only sketch comedy show, as well as directing and producing various shorts through Ball State's "Radiance Cinema" program. These projects include an acceptance into Hobnobben Film Festival for her first short film, "First Date." Her work often roots itself in screwball, feminist and metaphorical themes, most notably taking inspiration from Greta Gerwig and Jane Austen. You can find her on Instagram under @eliza.beth.reed, or keep up with Radiance Cinema under @radiancecinemabsu.
