As a motivated journalism student in Indiana University's Media School and Hutton Honors College, I strive to apply the skills I have learned in numerous media courses to my work experience. I have a variety of interests, which has led me to pursue minors in Spanish and sociology in order to diversify my skillset for future career opportunities. I received the Robert H. Enstad Scholarship for journalism after my freshman year and have continued to excel in my journalism courses, implementing my strong work ethic into my current position as director of public relations for the Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, a sorority I am a member of on IU's campus. As the director of public relations, I have developed skills in teamwork, strategic communication and writing website content. Additionally, I am a member of the Beth Wood's Chapter of PRSSA and am eager to dive deeper into the professional world of communications.
