I worked for the last 15 years in critical care in tertiary care hospitals around Atlanta before realizing that a transition to functional practice was the best way for me to serve clients and patients. I left my full time work in the ICU in 2017 to fully focus on wellness and my business The Organic South. My passion is to promote a healthy lifestyle through nutrition awareness, toxin avoidance and an integrative approach to medical care that encompasses modern and alternative therapies to encourage natural healing of the body and avoidance of a disease state. My approach focuses on evidenced based practice through diagnostics of functional labs and the proven solutions that are available through natural means. Some of the primary ways I incorporate wellness into the lives of my clients is through plant based solutions like essential oils, smart supplementation, holistic nutrition, daily movement and a focus on the emotional and spiritual aspects of wellness. The heart of my work is helping individuals find natural solutions for wellness and avoid ever needing an ICU!
