Driven by a deep passion for genetics and patient care, I am a dedicated biochemist and aspiring genetic counselor. I graduated from Dickinson College with a B.S. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a minor in Creative Writing, and my academic journey has been enriched by global experiences like a semester abroad at the University of Otago, New Zealand.During my time at Dickinson, I had the privilege of working with Dr. Tiffany Frey in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department. Here, I conducted time-sensitive laboratory research with cellular models of Mevalonate Kinase Deficiency, refined experimental methods, and presented findings to faculty and students, solidifying my love for genetics and research.Beyond the lab, my role as a CVS Pharmacy Technician allowed me to enhance my communication, administrative, and patient care skills, which I am eager to apply in clinical and research settings.My goal is to further my education by pursuing an MS in Genetic Counseling or a Ph.D. in Genetics and Genomics, with the vision of becoming a genetic professional who helps patients navigate the science of genetic susceptibility.Please feel free to contact me here on LinkedIn or via my email—I’d love to connect!
