• Reported to the Senior WMS manager during the startup of outbound processes in the Newnan Regional Distribution Hub. • Software Utilized 1010, Island Pacific (AS400), catalyst warehouse, web focus Warehouse Management System Software, Learning Management System, and Yard Management System. • Improved processes such as goal setting, transfer inventory, audits, backstock and training staff in processes using the different software systems. • Shadowed WMS manager on calls with Global Inventory to better understand their role in Dollar General. • collaborated with interns across different distribution centers on a project to improve the inbound processes, presented it in person to Dollar General Corporate. • Collaborated with interns across different distribution centers on project to improve accuracy Audit Program for Order selectors, presented in person to Dollar General Corporate • Assisted Freight Specialist with problem solving with freight received in and make reference po in a process brand new to the network. • Trained with all clerical functions including inbound, outbound, WMS, and inventory control. • Used a brand-new process to transfer inventory to the McDonough Distribution Center to transfer inventory systematically in putty.
