Director of San Diego PACE program (All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Successfully lead the PACE program which is a health plan and health care model designed for a fragile senior population that are MediCal/MediCare qualified. SD PACE Program is the fastest growing PACE in America and the fourth largest in the nation with revenue income of 220 million a year, 52% of the organizations business. Oversee 560 staff members.Development, planning, implementation and evaluation for San Diego PACE program. Plays a key leadership role, interacting with multiple stakeholders of San Diego PACE staff, including the Board of Directors. Represented program with State and Federal representatives. Continuously assessed and improved the performance by designing operational processes, monitoring performance through data analysis. Monitors and controls the budget to monitor operational and capital costs. Responsible for development, implementation, and oversight of all contracted provider agreements. Oversight for compliance with all governing regulations for State and federal rules and requirements for the program.

Oversee day to day clinic operations for San Ysidro Health Center and the Maternal and Child Health Cetner. Clinics provide adult and children dental services, pharmacy, behavioral health, OB/GYN, Peds, adult med., optometry, social services, health education, case management, radiology and optometry services. Manage budgets, reporting, health care and state audits. Oversee over 240 staff member; approx 6,000 visit on a monthly basis which produces 43% of the organization business.

Responsible for the management of the daily operations of the Medical Mobile Units and patient transportation. Program included Community based parenting and angry management classes and community outreach. Work closely with various community-based organizaitons, community leaders and groups, and South Bay public housing residents to provide medical, developmental and dental health assessments and referrals.

Responsible for developing, implementing and supervising Scripps health promotion and wellness activities in the Southern San Diego County, including the geographic regions of the South Bay and Central San Diego. This position worked closely with departmental staff, Scripps physicians, hospital administrative leaders and various community-based organizations, community leaders and groups.
