I have been associated with the equine world all of my life. I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky on a horse farm which turned into a boarding facility run by my family. I began my riding career in the United States Keeneland Pony Club and continued on to the hunter/jumper level, as well as eventing, up until my college years. I have had the opportunity to work for other barns and competing individuals to gain more experience. Because I was born into the equine industry, I knew I wanted to work with horses and other animals. So, I decided to study Equine Science and Management at the University of Kentucky in the horse capital of the world! I have gained so many amazing experiences throughout my undergraduate years. These include veterinary technician positions, internships, community service, pet sitting, and animal handling. I am looking to utilize my new skills and knowledge and move forward with my future endeavors into the animal industry.
