After years of working in public schools as a K-8 substitute teacher in a variety of short and long term assignments, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career as a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Intervention Teacher. The following year I was hired by the Airport Public Schools to teach 3rd Grade. In 2020, I was fortunate enough to obtain a position teaching 1st Grade in my home district where my children and myself had graduated from. I am on track to earn my Master's in STEM Education in May 2024. I am excited to use what I have learned in my graduate program to enhance not only my classroom instruction, but also transfer that to our Elementary Robotics teams.
