Rooted in the principles of SDGs 1, 2, and 3, the GleeChild Initiative emerged to address the orphanage system in Ghana. Our primary objective is to enhance the orphanage system nationwide, with a particular emphasis on providing crucial assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in significant job losses and challenges for the system.

The Akua Kuenyehia Foundation (AKF) is on a mission to turn dreams into degrees, one girl at a time. Founded in honour of H.E Judge Akua Kuenyehia, the first female Vice-President of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, and born out of the necessity to support young women facing financial hardships, we are committed to ensuring every girl has the opportunity to pursue her education through educational scholarships and mentorship programs.

Over the past eight years of my STEM Advocacy journey, I've addressed over 25 pressing topics related to Aerospace Engineering, STEM Education, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship.

Established and officially registered in 2016, while I was in my second year of undergraduate studies, Eliza Events was born out of the increasing need for engaging student social gatherings on campus. Serving as a comprehensive event planning and coordination firm, it has earned renown for crafting exceptionally innovative occasions for a range of esteemed clientele.

1. Successfully implemented the Safety Management Systems and Emergency Response Plan of the airline, under the supervision of the Safety Manager.2. Acted as the safety champion of the Safety Department by processing hazard reports and initiating action plans with respective persons with the airline’s safety software (Fusion) to ensure hazards are mitigated or prevented if possible.3. Chaired monthly Safety Action Group Meetings and participated in biannual Safety Review Board Meetings to discuss and address the safety concerns of all departments.4. Coordinated safety training activities, identified safety trends, and participated in three aircraft accident and incident investigations.5. Promoted security awareness in the airline by writing and distributing 15+ safety literature, newsletters, and reports.

Aided two supervisors, arranged tutorial sessions, and fulfilled responsibilities as a grader and proctor for over 450 students across courses including Basic Mechanics, Information Technology, Technical Drawing, and Engineering Drawing.

Collaborated with a seven-member team on the design, production, and testing of an Unmanned Agricultural Hexacopter for crop spraying purposes.

1. Reviewed Aircraft Maintenance and Operations Manuals of 3+ airline and aviation operators, and registered 15+ drones under the laws of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).2. Coordinated and issued airworthiness documentation for registered drones, reviewed internal documentation for accuracy, and tracked applications for certification.

Teamed up with mechanical engineers from the Mechanical Engineering Squadron (Ground) stationed at the Ghana Air Force Base. They were in charge of the initial and follow-up maintenance and repair of Class 1 Ground support equipment, along with secondary maintenance of Class II ground support equipment within the unit.

Effectively carried out a comprehensive study at the Reproductive Health Centre of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, aiming to assess the prevalence of safe abortion practices among Ghanaian adolescents. Created questionnaires, conducted interviews with adolescents at the Reproductive Health Centre, and provided educational sessions on diverse methods of Birth Control to help prevent teenage pregnancy.
