Lead the World Justice Project's global efforts to advance the rule of law, building the governance foundation for communities that deliver justice, opportunity, and peace. Responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of a global strategy for research and policy engagement that drive change, external speaking and representation in global forums, development and management of a global board of directors and advisory leadership council, oversight of organizational finances and compliant operations, fundraising from a diverse set of governmental and non-governmental donors, and recruitment and management of an effective, diverse, 65-person global team across three offices.

Served as a member of the ABA’s senior management team and led its global rule of law development programs, with 600 staff, consultants, and volunteers working in 50 countries to implement $40 million annual program. Responsibilities included setting the strategic direction of ABA's global development arm; overseeing all aspects of program and operational management; public speaking and representation; fundraising from U.S. and foreign government donors, foundations, law firms, corporations, and individuals; and coordinating governance through 24-person ABA ROLI Board of Directors and 38-member ABA Board of Governors. From September 2017, also served as Associate Executive Director for Global Programs and in that capacity also oversaw the ABA’s Center for Human Rights.

Led 3800-member global scholarly society, with responsibility for all aspects of its research, education, publishing, and conference programming, including convening of task forces of eminent persons, publication of the leading scholarly journal on international law, and organization of the must-go annual conference attended by more than 1500 experts in the field. Responsibilities included directing development and implementation of research and education program; fundraising from foundations, governments, institutional sponsors, and individual donors; coordinating 75-person governing board; oversight of finance, IT, and administration; and management of 15-person staff and hundreds of volunteers in member committee activities.
