I have a passion for learning new things, that is why I decided to go back to school and learn to code. I also love making things so it feels like a perfect fit. I love the challenge of learning and solving problems related to software development. I am currently sharpening my skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Java, PostgreSQL and more.I have been a licensed optician for the last 15 years and have gained immense experience in customer service. I have enjoyed helping people solve their vision needs. I also have enjoyed problem solving customer issues, from insurance problems to proper adjustments that improve visual clarity. I loved being in the lab manufacturing lenses, calculating base curves and completing a great pair of glasses for a patient.I hope to use my years of experience to achieve new goals related to full stack programing!
