I am a passionate and motivated educator with 19 years of experience dedicated to fostering excellence in teaching and learning. My journey in education has equipped me with a deep understanding of best practices and a proven ability to collaborate with educators in developing rigorous, student-centered curricula.My roles have spanned diverse areas of education, from my experience as an Instructional Design Specialist at Central Community College in Nebraska, where I coordinated course changes related to the Nebraska Transfer Initiative, collaborated with faculty to refine curricula, and designed courses, to my time at Grand Island Public Schools, where I significantly impacted student learning outcomes in various grade levels. Serving as an instructional coach and later as an elementary school principal, I facilitated professional growth for teachers and led school improvement initiatives. Collaborating with district leaders, I contributed to curriculum enhancements and coordinated district-wide assessments. Additionally, my experience as a teacher at Kansas City Missouri Public Schools allowed me to develop an awareness of diversity and its impacts on education while working with colleagues to create extra learning opportunities.With a wealth of knowledge in education, instructional design, and leadership, I am dedicated to elevating the field of education.
