    I developed 3 different e-learning courses:• Academic skills for healthcare - a 10-module course, designed to equip students with the academic skills needed to undertake an intensive online course in paramedicine. I researched the activities, wrote and designed the course using the Blackboard OLE (online learning environment). Learning activities ranged from keeping an online reflective learning journal, participating in discussion forums, accessing on-line books, analysing video footage, reflecting upon different situations, participating in group activities to prepare materials for presentations, online lectures etc. Each module consisted of 8-10 hours of learning and covered areas ranging from taking notes, presentation skills and professionalism to writing for higher education, academic reading and finding and retrieving information.• Coaching and mentoring - an online course designed for tutors working with paramedic students. This course encouraged individuals to reflect upon their role in their future students'​ development. I researched, wrote, designed and developed this course. • HN global study skills - this was a MOOC (massive open online course) for up to 250,000 international students a year undertaking HN (higher national) qualifications with Pearson College. I researched, developed and wrote the content. The course consisted of 10 modules, each of about 5-8 hours'​ study and catered for students with differing needs and levels of ability. I also introduced a number of 'learning companion' activities where students were encouraged to discuss their learning with a trusted friend, family member, neighbour or former tutor.
