I have the privilege of leading the Cisco Networking Academy in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics; Cisco's largest and longest running CSR programme that has reached 24 million+ learners. I manage a diverse ecosystem of 500+ partner orgs, 1,300+ educators, and 125,000+ annual students to sustain and grow the programme. I am passionate about making the technology sector a more inclusive, diverse, and accessible space. I am a Board Member for Women of Cisco UK & Ireland, where I currently lead STEM Outreach initiatives, and regularly volunteer on programmes that inspire young people, especially girls, to pursue STEM subjects and careers.I hold a BA in Modern Languages from Durham University and an MSc in Management from the triple crown accredited Bayes Business School. Prior to joining Cisco, I gained valuable international work experience in Barcelona, Paris, and Madrid encompassing Business Development, Human Resources, and Marketing. My strengths lie in bringing people together, creating long-lasting synergies, and driving simplicity in complex situations. Driven, enthusiastic, and curious, I am always ready to take on new challenges.💡 Learn more about the Cisco Networking Academy at netacad.com✉️ Contact me at elbarr@cisco.com
