As a registered nurse at Duke University Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and safety in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care unit has become my one of my passions. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Here I gained the clinical skills and knowledge needed to have a fulfilling nursing career. I have over a year of critical care nursing experience and continue to learn more everyday on the job. I am proficient in various skills, such as cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, medication administration, wound care, hemodynamic monitoring, and infection control. I am passionate about improving the health outcomes and well-being of my patients and their families, and I strive to uphold the standards and values of the nursing profession.
