BASF's Dispersions and Resins business supplies dispersions, resins and additives to formulators making coatings for transportation, industrial, furniture and flooring, construction and packaging applications.As Strategic Account Manager, I am responsible for resins sales to major coatings manufacturers, and key accounts, in the automotive, industrial, wood, and floor care markets in North America.

As Commercial Marketing Manager for Wood Coatings in BASF's Dispersions and Resins business in North America, I was responsible for:- Building and executing the market strategy for resins used in industrial coatings in the furniture, cabinetry, flooring, and building products industries- Developing go-to-market strategies for new, innovative resin products, and collaborating with R&D, tech service, and product management colleagues to commercialize those new products- Creating marketing materials that highlight our products' unique ability to help our customers, coatings formulators, meet the ever-increasing needs of the industry- Leading the wood coatings section of BASF's booth display at the American Coatings Show.

As the Transportation Market Segment Manager for BASF's Dispersions and Resins business in North America, I was responsible for:- Building and executing the market strategy for resins used in coatings in the transportation (auto OEM, auto refinish, ACE, aerospace, etc.) industry- Developing go-to-market strategies for new, innovative resin products, and collaborating with R&D, tech service, and product management colleagues to commercialize those new products- Creating marketing materials that highlight our products' unique ability to help our customers, coatings formulators, meet the ever-increasing needs of the industry- Developing and executing promotional campaigns- Developing new business and leading commercial activities for BASF's CONTOURA business - offering natural fiber-based thermoformable prepreg materials to Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturers

As part of the global marketing team for BASF's Refining Catalysts business, I was responsible for:- Leading the prioritization of sales / marketing activities globally, which resulted in significant marketing budget savings and reallocation- Standardizing the product launch process to expedite time-to-market, ensuring buy-in and alignment across a large cross functional team- Supported ongoing marketing efforts, including creating marketing and sales collateral for new products in the commercialization pipeline- Supported 10-year business strategy development efforts via high level market analysis and assessment

Chemours is a chemical company which started in 2015 as a spin-off from DuPont Performance Chemicals division, comprised of the Fluoroproducts, Chemical Solutions and Titanium Technologies businesses. As Market Development Manager for Stationary Refrigerants, I was responsible for:- Designing and developing product literature for market-leading Opteon™ brand to align with revised market strategy- Overhauling the sales database management process to track progress of new product adoption and quantify market share growth while improving cross-functional collaboration efficiencies- Standardizing the annual market analysis process for repeatability by developing a model based on bottom-up research and assumptions to accurately calculate market share by volume in commercial refrigerationOne highlight of my time in this role was serving as a member of an expert panel at a large distribution customer's seminar and leading a training for 60 HVACR technicians on refrigerant regulations.

I started my chemical engineering career working in the Process Development Center (PDC), a dedicated scale-up facility for new product development and process optimization of Chemours products. This work was highly collaborative between scientists, engineers and technicians on research teams to optimize processes at the pilot-scale for the development of new products, prior to their full production level scale-up. My contributions were focused on various cost savings efforts, impurity removal, and pressure relief system design.
