The Flying Pig Bookstore opened in Charlotte, Vermont, in1996. We started as a children's bookstore with 6,500 titles in 800 sq. ft. of selling space. We've grown and grown over the years, and in 2006, we moved to a larger location in Shelburne, VT, where we now have 40,000 titles in 1500 sq. ft. We're now a full=service general bookstore, but still emphasize and celebrate children's books.
