As a summer day camp coach at New Vision Training Center, I work with students ages three to fourteen years old. It is my responsibility to work with a specific age group for the day and guide them through a provided schedule of activities including but not limited to trampolines, ninja course, bouldering wall, swimming, outside games, crafts, and reading time. In this position, I am directly working with and mentoring the young students within my local community. It is my responsibility to offer a safe and fun environment for each individual. Furthermore, I also work with my co-workers to complete all cleaning tasks, and opening and closing requirements each day.

Observed a total of 43.5 hours following numerous optometrists, technicians, and ophthalmologists with their patient visits and work including cataract surgery, retinal injections, routine visits, laser procedure.Kept a detailed record of each day, my personal observations, and the equipment I was instructed to use.Interacted with patients from all backgrounds with varying medical issues not only related to the eyes.

Acted as a designated leader at school by answering questions, providing general support, and recording important information to later relay; was available and reliable for peers and faculty at any time.Substituted classes for teachers by thoroughly responding to emails and providing instruction to students to allow for the flow of classes to continue smoothly despite the absence of the teacher.Participated at the welcome event for new students by offering specific direction and guidance with the school system. I demonstrated how to access specific online resources.

Responded to short notice messages about teacher absences to substitute a variety of classes and avoid cancellations; oftentimes these requests were not until week or day of.Acted with flexibility and positivity to create the quality of class expected and being relied upon to provide.Created choreography and activity for students ages 5-18 within a dance class for 60 minutes minimum.
