General dental practice using Dentrix software and Schick imaging. Daily routine is to perform oral prophylaxis on the general public, charting dental, periodontal findings and taking dental images. All while educating the patient about the importance of good oral hygiene and how it affects their overall health. Maintain OSHA and CDC guidelines during visits and in the sterilization unit, sharpen instruments (excellent skill), restock when needed, manage Hu-Friedy recycle program when necessary.

Multi disciplined dental practice using Soft Dent software, Kodak and Care Stream 3D, 2D & panographic imagery for implant placement, oral surgery, periodontal surgery. I am one of several hygienist within the practice who's role is to educate our patients the importance of oral hygiene and how it effects overall health. Perform oral prophylaxis, both hand scale and ultrasonic scaling, digital x-rays, periodontal charting, dental charting, oral cancer screening while maintaining CDC & OSHA standards. Excellent sharpening skills, contribute to keeping the sterilization unit moving along and stocking when necessary. Great group effort!

Performing oral hygiene care and instructions to the geriatric population both ambulatory and wheelchair bound. This includes review of medical history, digital x-ray exposures, and charting changes to the dentition.
