I am a North Carolina native charged with a devotion to Art appreciation, writing, and an appetite for traveling. It is easy to say I have an eager heart. No matter my travels, the American South has always held my heart. The influx of Southern artists, as well as the celebration of art throughout the region of the South is of particular interest to me. Studying Art History at the University of Mississippi cemented my devotion to art appreciation, art criticism and art theory. After living in Istanbul, Turkey I realize even more the diversity that exists in our world; in turn I live everyday appreciating the ability Art has in creating a universally celebrated cultural fire. It is my hope to spread that fire wild.
