I am a college student attending the University of the Pacific. Majoring in Civil Engineering while also minoring in Engineering Management. The various skills I have obtained were established with the plenty of experiences I had the opportunity whether it was in a work, school environment or organizations I currently participate in and perviously did. With that being said I can confidently say that I am comfortable with working in teams and I also know how to step up to be a leader as well. The roles I've had in pervious volunteering opportunities and officer position in my current organization would help support this statement. One of many things I enjoy doing and look forward to incorporating it into my profession is helping people. I realized this is what I wanted to do through the span of completing over hundreds of hours of community service. It's the satisfaction of helping a community is the most rewarding part of it all. I would like to go into graduate school after finishing my bachelors. The outcome I would like to get out of this is to receive a higher level of preparation for job opportunities I will encounter. Wanting to do more for the community, in helping any way possible is one of my motivations. In civil engineering I want to focus more on the construction and the structural aspect of it. Knowing that one day I will be able to manage the construction process, for example the making of shelters for people in need.
