I have been a classroom teacher since 2013. I currently hold certifications in Special Education, ESL, Secondary English (8-12), and most recently completed a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.I am a passionate, dedicated, and creative teacher who believes that all children can achieve and thrive when given the right opportunity to explore their strengths. I have taught sophomore, junior, and senior English as well as AP English Literature and Composition. My goal is for students to be successful through effective planning and creating a positive learning environment that fosters individual growth through empathy and a genuine caring for them. My classroom is an exciting place to teach. It is an educational site that promotes diversity, creativity, self awareness, self efficacy, and building confidence with students from all backgrounds.
