I lead a team of Insurance specialists within Moody's Advisory Services who help companies to determine and implement the right solutions for them to understand and manage their exposure and catastrophe risk. Every client’s situation, strategic objectives and priorities are different. Prior to making significant investments in new technologies, applications, models and/or analytics we help our clients to assess their options and quantify which would provide the best return and achieve their goals.This follows through to the design and implementation phases, whether: integrating a new application, operationalising the use cat models for the first time, or defining and applying a custom view of risk. Senior member of the RMS London based consulting team, providing catastrophe risk consulting and implementation services to global P&C insurers, Lloyds syndicates and Bermuda reinsurersI worked with organisations in all areas of catastrophe risk management including benchmarking a company’s expertise, process and technologies against their peers and advising on industry best practices. Working with clients to implement and operationalise RMS solutions to meet their needs i.e adopting a new application or model, applying their own view of risk or enhancing underwriting practices.

Responsible for leading the development, marketing, sales, support and defining the strategy for RMS hazard data globally. This represents the product management of over 30 product lines used by insurers to screen and rate risk at the point-of-underwriting.Responsibilites:- Product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising client requirements, understanding competitor offerings, defining the product vision and future strategy by anticipating the changing market needs. - Formation and execution of go-to-market plans and associated collateral for new or upgraded product lines.- Devise marketing campaigns - including methods to expand into new markets, territories and establishment of partnerships.- Sales support through presentations and demonstrations to clients and at conferences. Conducting evaluations to quantifying the value to prospective clients, the impact on their business and alignment with their goals. - Profit and loss responsibility - Develop strong client relationships – provide product training and guidance to users, and advise on how to implement the metrics within their underwriting workflows which reflects their risk appetite.

Part of a team of hydrologists, climatologists and statisticians developing RMS’ European flood models. Involved in all aspects of the development of flood models including leading initiatives requiring geospatial (mapping) skills such as hydrologically correcting digital terrain models and defining drainage networks, model and loss calibration. Lead flood specialist supporting RMS activities following major flood catastrophes including events in the UK (2000), Central Europe (2002) and the flooding of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina (2005).
