My primary responsibility was to design, implement, and solicit major individual gifts to the College. Additional responsibilities included identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects to support Phase II of The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center capital campaign.

Senior Development Officer (2014-2017):I maintained responsibility for cultivating and securing transformational $100K+ legacy gifts to benefit Jewish communities in Cleveland and around the world. I steward outreach and leadership development to high net-worth individuals.Special Projects Manager (2016-2017):I periodically assume responsibility for short-term Supplemental Funding Campaigns. I am currently closing a $3.5 million endowment campaign to support Jewish cemeteries in perpetuity.Women's Philanthropy Director (2009-2014): Utilizing the Appreciative Inquiry change management process to jump start its course, I supervised the creation of the Woman's Philanthropy Initiative (WPI) in 2011. I successfully led the organization through a transitional period during which women in leadership roles doubled and 25% more women created legacy endowments. Women now comprise nearly half of all donors to the Federation's $30 million Annual Campaign for Jewish Needs and annual giving by women continues to grow by a healthy 5%. International Fund Development Officer (March 2011):Bridge to the Future- Beit Shean, Israel I worked with colleagues on the ground to leverage giving from Israeli philanthropists for local and regional Israeli economic development projects.Assistant Development Director (2009 - 2014):We shared best practices for outreach and engagement of women leaders across the Federation system and will soon introduce those best practices to Federation's16 partner agencies. I continue to collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver VIP donor-informed missions domestically and to Israel. Philanthropic Planning Officer (2006 - 2009):I carried a diverse portfolio that included solicitations for the $138M Centennial Capital Campaign, assisting partner agencies with specific grant-related project work, and raising support from private foundations for Tel Aviv 100.Selected for the Wolf Fellowship Development Program 2012-2014.

With an expertise in non-profit management, I worked with agency executives to build capacity. Provided leadership, oversight, and evaluation in the areas of fund development, strategic planning, trustee training, and related communication and marketing endeavors. Clients included: Center for Community Solutions; Cleveland Rape Crisis Center; Greater Cleveland Camping Alliance; Hard Hatted Women Jewish Family Service Association; Violence Against Women Act Collaborative; YMCA of Greater Cleveland.

I assisted in the development of the annual campaign plan, supervised the annual tele-fundraising campaign, and managed a record $2 million major individual giving campaign.

I initiated and conducted the first tri state community needs assessment. In addition, I created and implemented the agency’s first multi-year development plan, maintained responsibility for all government and media relations, and increased contributions by 75%.
