I am a speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience. I have worked in the public schools and outpatient clinics as a direct service provider, as well as clinical faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at two, Big 10 universities. I have conducted a variety of presentations and workshops on a variety of topics. Additionally, I have published a book that focuses on strategies to support social-communication abilities in elementary-age children. Specifically, I have worked as a ASHA certified speech-language pathologist in the public schools of Maryland, Virginia, and Iowa. I have worked as a direct service provider at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD, as well as the Waisman Center in Madison, WI. I developed leadership skills by serving on a variety of committees at the state and national level.
