I was in the United States Navy from 1979-1987. I am a disabled veteran I earned the rank of E-5 Hospital Corpsman 2nd class. I was hoping to retire. I enjoyed my life in the Navy and am very proud to call myself a veteran. I believe I served my contry honorably, I recieved one good conduct medal I missed my 2nd only because I became disabled shortly before my 8 years were up. If able I would return in a heartbeat. Iwas stationed at the Naval Hospital in San Diego California for 18 months working on the medical pediatrics floor. I was then transfered to the Naval Hospital in Okinawa Japan for 18 months. I was the senior Corpsman in the newborn intensive care nursery. I also work OJT in the Physical Therapy Dept. I attended physical Therapy Tecnition School at Ft. Sam Houston, In San Antonio Texas. I did my OJT at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda Maryland. Where I was later station full time until my injury.
