I graduated from Shippensburg University in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology which I used to jumpstart my career in the mental health field as a therapeutic support staff providing behavioral intervention to children. I pursued my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, also from Shippensburg University, and graduated May 2018. I currently work in an outpatient setting providing mental health counseling and drug and alcohol counseling. At an outpatient therapist, it is my goal to help a client work through challenges. I believe that through the use of effective therapy techniques, it is possible to find positive growth and meaning in life and uncover the answers we already have buried within us. Counseling is a process and I believe that everyone's process is unique, there is no one size fits all but I strive to find the size that fits my client.My other experiences have included working within the criminal justice system providing drug and alcohol counseling to adolescents on probation and I have been within a school setting providing mental health counseling to high school and middle school students. Adolescents and vicarious trauma of helping professionals are two areas I specialize in.
