Ever since I was little, people have been my passion. I love people. I love hearing their stories, finding out what makes them tick, and seeing how we are all unique yet connected at the same time. When I asked my parents what I was like as a small child, they would always tell me stories of meeting any other child and instantly becoming their best friend. My degree in Sociology solidified that for me, along with too many Psychology classes "just for fun". I have a unique approach to customer service, to supervising and managing, and to training. My people passion has led to many hours of research into the enneagram, MBTI, epigenetics, the inner child: basically anything having to do with why do people make the decisions that they make. I can approach any customer/guest/patron/employee who has an issue with a mind of curiosity, with a heart asking the hard questions of why did this issue happen and how can we work together to resolve it. This passion has carried me through myriads of people-oriented jobs. From various jobs in the food industry, to training patient intake at an emergency room, to managing a professional theater, to physical therapy offices, to supervising at resorts, to working on top of mountains, to middle schools and Montessori schools and beyond. I have always been creative with interacting with people, so much so that I have had managerial jobs created for me simply by doing an outstanding job at.....peopleing. When I am not busy peopleing, another passion I have is nature. I have done personal landscaping, learned to run a chainsaw, can open and complete a stormwater management plan, and learned to run heavy equipment on top of a mountain at 11,000 feet of elevation.I am happiest doing two things. The first is finding the connections in people between their stories and their problems, and helping solve those problems using my life experience and their own paradigm. The second is being in nature: running, yoga, camping, snowboarding, traveling, being in community, and studying eastern philosophies and religions.
