Throughout my career, I have researched and evaluated projects, programs, grants, and laws focusing on healthcare policies and practices, hospital operations, and national healthcare evaluations, decisions, and reform initiatives. My scope of experience also includes juvenile justice, housing policies, state and federal legislative processes and laws.As a researcher and analyst, I have contributed to multiple complex grants and projects by leading and organizing data collection, interpreting requirements, authoring reports, and planning processes for implementation and compliance. In collaboration with high-level officials, I have provided subject matter expertise for the technical assistance teams on Phase I of the Virginia Heath Reform Initiative (VHRI), researched the Affordable Care Act (ACA) provisions, and served on the data submission and reports team for the 2016 Hospital and Medical Office surveys under AHRQ Survey of Patient Safety (SOPS).My strengths include analyzing situations and information, improving processes, and asking the right questions.
