I have worked as a CNA for four years. It has helped my nursing career a great deal as I have learned how to handle diverse family situations, how to diffuse stressful patients and families, vital signs, dressing changes, assisting patients with transfers properly, how to assist patients with aspiration risks in drinking and eating, proper positioning of patients with and without orthopedic surgeries, and how to care for patient's basic activities of daily living.

I learned great teamwork skills, organization, and time management.
