Beth is currently completing a doctoral program combining her love of behavior analysis, organizational behavior management, and artificial intelligence with research interests in Human Computer Interaction and UX research. She is a fully funded doctoral Research Assistant on a project funded by the National Science Foundation's Future of Work Program where she supports an interdisciplinary team seeking to use artificial intelligence and behavior analysis to support employment for neurodivergent workers in the tech industry. She is also supporting an interdisciplinary team seeking to build AI-enabled AAC software on a project also funded through the National Science Foundation. With experience in organizational development and instructional design, Beth previously served as a Director of Training and Development, supervising staff working in the field and designing development plans for staff. Beth managed a team of clinical supervisors and clinical care coordinators, and served as a clinical lead for ABA programs for children diagnosed with developmental disabilities across six different states in her role as a former Clinical Director. Beth is also the former CEO of an adult services division where she was charged with developing quality clinical services for adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities in the state of Pennsylvania, supporting their vocational and independent living goals. Beth is currently an Adjunct Professor at Capella University and the University of West Florida where she teaches master’s level Applied Behavior Analysis courses through unique online competency-based models. Beth is also the Founder and Senior Consultant for Shaping Development, LLC, where she works with individuals and businesses to develop personal, organizational, and financial data-driven goals, fueled by advances in technology, AI, and data science.
