I was able to speak on the record under the student practice order, participate in mock oral arguments, attend interesting and informative lectures, and draft legal documents.

Worked as a summer intern for the NYC Department of Social Services in their Child Support and Enforcement Litigation unit. I had the opportunity to work closely with attorneys where I honed my drafting, legal research, and writing skills under the supervision of DSS attorneys. I drafted memorandums to analyze complex family law issues such as vacating an acknowledgment of paternity and in doing so, ensuring clarity and adherence to relevant legal precedents and statutes. I also got the opportunity to participate in the NYC Law Department’s Trial Advocacy Program and the DSS OLA Trial Advocacy Program.

Assisted in co-founding a non-profit & donation-based thrift store on Manhattan College's campus. Student's were able to trade their clothing to nurture a sustainable way to shop on campus and excess clothing donated to various nearby organizations. Responsibilities included attending board meetings, supervising social media and marketing strategies, inspecting inventory, and coordinating donations.
