LCSW- As an experienced mental health professional, I work with children and families experiencing behavior challenges as a result of abuse and neglect, those in foster care, struggling with mental illness, and adjusting to divorce or grief. I provide therapy in homes, in the community or through teletherapy, I work with children, families and communities to create environments that increase resiliency. I supervise graduate students and professionals seeking their LCSW and LAPSW licenses. As an Early Childhood Consultant- I provide therapy for families with very young children. My focus is coaching and working with parents whose young children have behavioral issues as well as histories of trauma. I provide classroom and childcare consultation. I provide training to professionals as well as Reflective Supervision. Director- As a leader in state and local programs, I advocate for families and children to know and exercise their voice in their care. I have been a director within a juvenile correctional, and mental health system. I have been a project director for a large system of care grant. I have program development and operations expertise for residential and outpatient settings at both state and local levels. I can write grants and I can develop strategic plans. I have negotiated statewide contracts, I have developed state and local programs to meet the specific needs of children and families, written curriculum and facilitated extensive quality assurance management for state programs.Juvenile Corrections- I have juvenile corrections treatment and operational experience at a state and county level. As a state director, I worked with Legislative and Judicial systems. I developed, wrote and implemented statewide treatment programs for adolescents with trauma histories, developmental delays, teen mothers, substance abuse and youth with sexual behavior disorders.
