I started my career working in politics and became interested in bettering our education system. For my transition to education, I went back to school to get my Masters in School Counseling and then started working at an education policy non-profit that works specifically with alternative schools. At Eduvero, we are bringing student data to life. Eduvero uses AI-powered insights to identify achievement gaps and provide personalized solutions, allowing educators to act swiftly with user-friendly tools. Eduvero transforms education, solving key challenges and creating equitable, student-centered learning environments that set a new standard for success.At Momentum Strategy & Research, I managed different initiatives that work with alternative education campuses on their abilities to strengthen opportunities for their AEC students. Momentum's work aims to align measures of progress with schools' unique missions, programming, and populations, and to customize measures of student need, student progress, and school success for both continuous improvement and external stakeholder purposes.As a school counselor, I worked with elementary students on their social skills and addressing topics like bullying, self-esteem and attention. I helped high school students develop self-advocacy skills and post-graduation plans tailored to the individual students, their goals, and their life circumstances.Prior to working in education, I worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Working in a fast-paced environment helped instill the importance of flexibility and collaboration in the workplace.
