Start Up and Operational Business Advisor for the Economic Development Collaborative specializing in Food, Beverage and Hospitality.I started working with the SBDC/EDC of Ventura after the Thomas Fire in Ojai. They helped our Restaurant get emergency funding to survive the business downturn during and after the Thomas Fire Disaster. During that process we learned a lot on how to keep our books organized for future capital needs as well as running a more profitable business. The coaching we received prepared us for COVID Pandemic, we didn't know it at the time but because we had to get our financial house in order for recovery, we were ready with everything we needed to get PPP and IRC money. The fire introduced us to non profits like The Help of Ojai and WC Kitchen and during the pandemic we were able to work with these non profits and provide food for emergency workers and the elderly.As a small business owner and operator for over 16 years I bring the unique ability to wear many hats and to love problem solving. I love helping other small business owners find success and I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with them.
