I provided general legal counsel for small businesses with a specialty in health care compliance. As a general counsel, I work with companies to address those “under served” legal issues that are outside the scope of current outside counsel, of which are usually taking up the precious time of the executive team. My goal is to work as a strategic partner with each company to manage their legal issues from one time contract questions to multi-district litigation.As it relates to health care compliance, my goal is to provide small to medium size companies with the tools they need to implement their own internal compliance program specific to health care either on an on-going or project specific basis. After building the compliance department for a medical device company, I decided to draw from this experience to provide practical and affordable advice to companies who are navigating through the tricky landscape of fraud and abuse laws. I can either serve as counsel or when appropriate, compliance officer.
