I’m a non-profit Director and a coalition builder. I began my career as a lawyer with a goal of helping people accomplish things in a world they do not understand. I supported leaders with business operations, navigating the ambiguity of the legal system, and minimizing risk. It’s where I also became involved in policy and advocacy, a passion I eventually translated into work with my local and state Parent Teacher Associations. After years of volunteering in Education grassroots advocacy and citizenship training, I was hooked. I joined an adult education non-profit agency and spent several years building partnerships and growing programming, designing best-in-class curriculum, and developing a robust in-house citizenship program. Today, I leverage my years of experience as non-profit leader and former attorney to lead Faith & Grief in its mission to bring comfort and hope and I continue to consult with education and social service non-profits in the areas of fundraising, grant compliance, programming, personnel management, and community engagement.
