Elizabeth founded Creatively Focused in November, 2016. Through results focused planning, personalized collaboration, and innovative implementation, Creatively Focused is a leader in providing support to special educators through tools and resources built by special educators. Creatively Focused works with districts nationally to ensure their special educators feel their job is sustainable.

The Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center (SILC) at the University of Chicago is a psychology laboratory with the goal of understanding, evaluating, and improving the research applications of spatial cognition particularly within educational settings. SILC is a multi-site National Science Foundation Science of Learning Center with the aim of developing the science of spatial learning and using this knowledge to transform educational practice, particularly in the areas of scientific, technical, engineering, and mathematical (STEM) skills. *Cooperated with teachers and administration at 15 elementary schools in the Chicago area*Administered assessment tools to students (K-4), such as Woodcock-Johnson III, Key Math, WRAT, TRC and other spatial assessments*Developed a spatial activities handbook to use with specific math and science curricula, such as EverydayMath, Math Trailblazers, Houghton Mifflin and Full Options Science System*Instructed teachers on how to effectively implement spatial activities in their classrooms
