I am responsible for corresponding with my principal and assistant principal about needs for the faculty and students in the STEM department. It is also my responsibility to act as a faculty liaison between them and the administration. I will be collecting curriculum maps and lesson plans as well as providing feedback and observing my coworkers.

Subjects taught: Algebra I, Geometry, Honor's Geometry, Trigonometry/Pre-calculus, and AP Calculus. Activities: Sophomore Class Moderator, Interact Club Moderator, Homecoming Dance PlannerAwards: Honored at Teacher Appreciation Night at a Los Angeles Clipper's game (December 2014); Nominated for Teacher of the Year (2013-2014) where I was honored at the annual Teacher Eddy Awards hosted by the Los Angeles Chamber of CommerceI also acted as the Interim Dean of STEM for 5 weeks (March - April 2014). During this time, I was responsible for communicating both with the math and science faculty members and the principal, collecting curriculum maps and lesson plans, and observing/reviewing my coworkers.

Swim: I coached swimming for two seasons at SJCS. During the first season, I was a co-head coach. We held practice 1 time per week for 2 hours. During the second season, I was the only coach. We held practices 2 times per week for 1.5 hours.Track: Co-head coach for 1 season. We had practices 2 times per week and meets on every Saturday during the season.

I taught swim lessons for campers ages 9 - 14, and I was a cerified lifeguard.
