During my time, at Sony Picture Studios on the television show SWAT, I was responsible for managing a team of several costumers. As the team lead, I would sit in meetings and review the shooting schedules to create a project plan. I would also break down the script to see how many costume changes each character would have and cross-reference the background breakdown to create a budget. Additionally, I communicated with multiple departments to ensure that materials and the resources necessary to fully function as a department while on location were available to my team. Through these experiences, I honed my project planning, communication, and problem-solving skills and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of team building in a business setting.

While working as a costume production assistant, I gained extensive experience managing and organizing wardrobe inventory. I collaborated closely with the costume designer and the rest of the production team to ensure that the costumes were of high quality and accurately reflected the vision of the production. This included sourcing materials, managing budgets, overseeing fittings and alterations, and coordinating with other members of the production team to ensure that costumes were completed on time and within budget. In addition to my technical skills, I developed strong interpersonal and communication skills through my interactions with designers, directors, and other crew members. I am confident that my experience in costume production would make me a valuable asset to any team.

As an assistant technical designer in the fashion industry, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from creating technical sketches to fitting garments. My responsibilities include developing and maintaining tech packs, communicating with manufacturers and vendors, and ensuring that designs are executed accurately and efficiently. I am experienced in pattern-making, grading, and marking, and have a deep understanding of garment construction and production processes. I am also skilled in using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator and Excel. Through my work, I have gained a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of teamwork, as collaborating with designers, production teams, and other stakeholders is essential in ensuring a successful final product. I am always looking for ways to improve the manufacturing process and ensure that the final product is of the highest quality.

As a fashion showroom coordinator, I was responsible for managing the daily operations of the showroom. This included greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining inventory. I worked closely with designers and sales teams to ensure that all merchandise was properly displayed and showcased to potential customers. Additionally, I assisted with organizing and coordinating fashion shows and events.
