As an MRB technician, I have experience managing parts rejected by production or other areas and collaborating with colleagues in other areas to contain quality defects identified in general assembly areas. I am proficient in operating in the ‘inspect, diagnose and repair’ mindset, guiding MRB teams to disposition parts timely while driving root cause investigations and documenting any identified defects on parts.My responsibilities include accurately and timely dispositioning non-conforming material, constructing and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams in the plant, creating supplier corrective action requests, and tracking and presenting data trends on defects identified using data applications and systems. I am proficient in performing detailed daily record keeping and reporting, handling multiple priorities, organizing workload, and meeting deadlines.I partake in collecting defective parts and securing them in the MRB area, participating in daily MRB meetings, ensuring accurate inventory in the MRB area, and transacting MRB inventory as necessary, including returning any parts to the supplier.

My role was to supervise the production efforts to make sure projects were completed according to the company’s and customers’ standards, on time, and within budget. I was in charge of 3 process areas: trivalent chromium, blackening, and phosphatized. In each area, it was important to determine the concentrations and time to coat different materials (iron and steel) to obtain the proper finishes like thickness and final appearance. I conducted quality-control tests and directed test procedures. In the Phosphatized and Blackening Areas, I improved the existing processes which helped us to decrease the rejection rate by the final inspection team, reduced production costs, and formulated multiple solutions to avoid rework. I optimized the Chromium production by 20% by identifying production errors in a quicker way and implemented effective changes. Part of my success was by establishing strong inter-team relationships with floor workers and supervisors, improving communication between the different areas in the plant, assessed the existing safety methods and procedures, and later formulating new ways to improve safety and security in my workplace, the outcome of all those actions boosted quality in the production. I updated and generated manuals that allowed me to train the personnel to make them more knowledgeable about the various processes and procedures in my area.I also was in charge of writing technical reports, documentation and delivered timely updates to upper management. Finally, I participated in several internal and external audits.

I was part of the quality control technical team. Part of my job consisted in monitoring the performance of the production team, basically identifying and addressing issues that affected the quality of the production, checking the product in each stage of the process, comparing samples to standards and specifications by performing detailed measurements and tests on the metal, fill-in sheets in the lab and recorded lot numbers and serial numbers in the SAP system for traceability of all produced items—examined samples of materials before using them in the production of stamps. Assisted with correcting systemic problems to eliminate errors by performing visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, generating performance reports, detailing findings, and proposing recommendations for performance to outline quality management, effectiveness, and achieving goals. Completing inspection routines of components and products to fulfill quality assurance requirements was indispensable.

My role was to work in the research and development area, I analyzed chicken oil samples, sunflower oil, serrano pepper, and beans from other companies to help to improve the company operations and finally develop a methodology in the company to produce TBHQ (Tert-butyl hydroquinone: a synthetic food antioxidant to prevent oils and fats from oxidative deterioration and rancidity).

During my time in the CINVESTAV I was working in the environmental department, analyzing samples of water with different pollutants, making tests with plants to purify the water, and analyzing the water treated with chemical solutions to be purified in the water treatment plant.
