Pathology regions were redistricted due to significant growth in the clinical pathology staff, changing my title from Eastern Regional manager to Southern regional manager. As a regional manager of clinical pathology, I am responsible for locally and remotely managing 9 clinical pathologists in 6 different IDEXX locations including Memphis, Baltimore, Greensboro, Tampa, Atlanta, and Oklahoma. I also assist in client education and customer service as well as laboratory quality assessment.

Both local and remote management of 15 veterinary clinical pathologists in the eastern region including in North Grafton, Memphis, Baltimore, Manhattan, Tampa, and Philadelphia labs. Also, assistance in laboratory quality and customer interfacing for those labs.

As a clinical pathologist at IDEXX reference labs, I was responsible for evaluating and interpreting cytology, peripheral blood smears and CBC data, as well as urinalysis, serum protein electrophoresis, and serum biochemistry data for practicing veterinary clinicians.

My responsibilities as a principal clinical pathologist at MPI research included consultation with small and large pharmaceutical investigators on preclinical toxicological data. This investigation included panels from dog, cat, non-human primate, sheep, pig, rat, and mice species. Statistical analysis of groups of 10-200 animals including panels of serum biochemistry, CBC data, Urinalysis data and special chemistries. Written reports were generated based on the assessment of these panels for submission to the FDA and other governing bodies.
