As the first professional designer to fill this role at Lehigh Valley Zoo, Elizabeth had the opportunity to develop the entire position from the ground up and became responsible for the organization's rapid expansion of its marketing department. • Consulted with staff to identify their graphic needs, budget constraints, and reasonable deadlines for projects; served as a liaison between the client and printers/publishers and fabricators of signage.• Conceptualized, designed, and produced art for a wide range of media including: print and web marketing material, multi-page layouts, illustrations, infographics, exhibit elements, trade show displays, signage, souvenir merchandise, staff uniforms, etc.• Coordinated the printing or signage production process: wrote reproduction specifications; selected ink, paper, and print quality; prepared files for production; inspected proofs for accuracy; and recommended contractors for various jobs.• Oversees all aspects of publication of marketing pieces and website design. This includes, but is not limited to advertisement schedules, design, format, spec guidelines, editorial, production calendars, and acting as a liaison with marketing partners on each piece.

CASA of Berks County is one of many CASA sectors that provide a competent, responsible, and compassionate court-appointed community volunteer to advocate for each child who faces abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment in the Berks County area of Pennsylvania. I provided print graphics, such as posters and pamphlets for fundraising events. This freelance position is still on-going and is based on need and project to project.

Pennsylvania Bat Rescue is an animal rehabilitation center that mainly focuses on the medical treatment and release of injured animals and educational programs for the public. My role began with logo creation and a re-brand of the organization's overall look and interaction with the community to a more modern, clean, professional look. Other aspects of the job includes website assets, promotional posters, social media graphics, rack cards, brochure creation, and merchandise like magnets. It also includes the creation of graphics for an "ADOPT an Animal Program" and materials for outreaches and job fairs. Electric City Aquarium opened its doors in October of 2018. My role as their graphic designer was to develop launch creative for their opening. This included all exhibit signs, infographic signs, brochures, rack cards, and map design. With a grand total of approximately 90 signs, I collected animal information from animal staff and displayed it in a uniformed, easy to digest way, with infographics, maps, animal photo, and fun facts. Map design started with a 3D layout of the facility and on-site sketching of exhibit locations and vital information. All assets were illustrated digitally by hand and crafted together to create the final product. Crooked Row Farm, and several other local farmers, were participants in my capstone project for my graduate degree. Chikkenstock.com was created over a years time to provide graphic design assets to small community organizations in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. Through this endeavor, icons, illustrations, logo templates, and social media marketing materials we created and uploaded for free future use. Willow Street Catering, owned by Willow Street Pub, became the exclusive catering service at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. Through my professional relationship working with this company in my role at the Zoo, I became involved with freelance creation of their own materials as well.
