I am a young adult contemporary writer, currently working on a novel (VOICE) that I hope to publish within the next couple years. I also write short stories and flash fiction.

Tutored an elementary-aged student (3rd-5th grade) in my home. Subjects included reading, writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, social studies, math, and science.

I have been taking care of children for about six years, different families, various ages. My most recent position was four days a week with irregular hours for a three-year-old. We drew pictures and colored, read picture books from the library, went outside, played with puzzles and games, and watched Disney movies together. I've cared for her for a little over a year, and the family has decided to put her in daycare. I also have experience with a one-year-old. My duties included feeding her, playing, putting her down for naps, changing her, and baby laundry. Before that, I had occasional babysitting jobs with preschool and school-aged children.
